Jambi Police Investigate The Goal Of Sending Wood From Illegal Development

Jambi Police investigated the purpose of sending dozens of logs resulting from illegal logging activities in Muaro Jambi. The four suspected perpetrators who were arrested were SRY as truck drivers, NSR, EG and STY were workers who loaded wood without the documents. This case was revealed after the police received a report of illegal timber transportation activities in Talang Kerinci Village, Muaro Jambi. The illegal wood is planned to be brought to the Seberang area of Jambi City. From the report, the police headed to the location, where they found a vehicle carrying the wood without the document. With a maximum threat of five years in prison with a minimum fine of Rp. 500 million and a maximum of Rp. 2.5 billion.
