JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned two witnesses regarding the DJKA Ministry of Transportation bribery case today, Friday, August 16. One of them is Yoseph Aryo Adhi Dharmo who is the Deputy Secretary General of PDIP. "Today, the KPK has scheduled the examination of witnesses for alleged corruption in the DJKA area of East Java," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika to reporters in a written statement, Friday, August 16. Apart from Yoseph, the anti-corruption commission also summoned other witnesses in this case. He is Anak Agung Gede Sumadi Suka Sedana who is said to be a private employee. "The examination was carried out at the Red and White KPK Building on behalf of YADH as Deputy Secretary General for the DPP PDI-P and AAGSSS as private employees," explained Tessa. It has not been detailed about this examination material. However, Yoseph Adhi was not the first to be summoned in the bribery case of the Ministry of Transportation's DJKA. Previously, he had been summoned on July 18. At that time, he admitted that investigators were asked about the meeting with the Minister of Transportation (Menhub) Budi Karya Sumadi. "“ Called regarding the existence of my photo with Pak Budi Karya Sumadi," said Yoseph in a written statement. In addition, he claimed to be asked about the operation of the Jokowi-Ma’ruf Amin winning team in the 2019 presidential election. At that time, Yoseph was the head of the team secretariat chaired by Erick Thohir before serving as Minister of SOEs and Hasto Kristiyanto as team secretary. As for the meeting with Budi Karya, Yoseph admitted that at that time he reported the operation of the house of aspirations of Jokowi-Ma’ruf volunteers whose address is at Jalan Proklamasi, Central Jakarta. “ Due to the formation of the Aspiration House at the beginning as directed by Erick Thohir as the head of the winning team that the Aspiration House operation was handled by Pak Budi Karya Sumadi,” he explained.
