Puan Maharani Chooses The Golden Kebaya Karya Didiet Maulana While Leading The Joint Session Of The DPR-DPD

JAKARTA - The chairman of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, wore a kebaya with a Gold color feel, in a series of Annual Sessions of the MPR RI and the Joint Session of the DPR-DPD RI in 2024. The gold kebaya was designed by the famous designer Didiet Maulana.

The gold kebaya has the meaning of the spirit, success and victory that radiates in commemorating the 79th anniversary of Indonesia's independence. The motifs on the front are made convex with bouquets or flowers. This is influenced by the coastal role of Chinese, colorful.

Puan also wore a young gold silk scarf to complete the Kebaya she wore, as a symbol of softness. Not to forget that there is also a butterfly bros accessory in the middle panel of the kebaya that adds to the sweet clothes that Puan wears.

"The butterfly motif is widely displayed in various wastra motifs in Indonesia. Symbolizing metamorphos, that everything is a process that must be built one by one," explained Didiet.

The kebaya is equipped with a batik cloth that writes a styling and bouquet motif, which symbolizes the beauty and growing process. The charm of Kawung's motif on the edge of the cloth makes Bung Karno's grandson more elegant and shows the figure of an Indonesian woman who loves unity.

"The kawung motive is a symbol of purity, kindness and unity," explained Didiet, who is also the son of the Minister of Defense and President-elect Prabowo Subianto.

Didiet Maulana designed the Kutu Baru Kebaya model with a Gold color feel, from the golden brukat with luxury sequinet details along the kebaya. Complete with a gold smartphone scarf.
