Meeting Nawawi Pomolango 2 Hours, Former KPK Leaders And Employees Singgung 'Blok Medan'

JAKARTA - The former leader and employee of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) met with KPK Chairman Nawawi Pomolango today. There were three main discussions including Blok Medan which dragged the name of the Mayor of Medan Bobby Nasution.

"Three things are briefly about 'Blok Medan', regarding the process of selecting candidates for leadership regarding criteria, which must be considered by the Pansel and also the KPK because the KPK has an interest in it, namely regarding ethics and the third regarding Firli Bahuri's status," said former KPK Commissioner Busryo Muqoddas to reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday, August 14.

Busyro said Nawawi who attended the meeting was very open with the input submitted. The participants in the activity included former KPK commissioners Bambang Widjojanto and Saut Situmorang, former KPK Advisor Abdullah Hehamahua, to former KPK employee Praswad Nugaraha.

According to him, Nawawi will also follow up on the input given. "Earlier we conveyed two hours, yes, with Pak Nawawi," he said.

"He is very open and very concerned about what we have said and will be followed up," he continued.

Meanwhile, Abdullah Hehamahua said that the investigation of the 'Medan Block' should have been carried out to restore the KPK maduua. After all, it has been done before, ensnaring the president's family who carried out fraudulent practices.

"KPK (ever, ed) arrested President SBY's besan (Aulia Pohan). So if President SBY's besan can be arrested by the KPK, let alone only the president's son-in-law," he said.

"Therefore, the KPK must take Blok Medan seriously so that, both in-laws related to the president haeus are processed," Abdullah said.

As previously reported, the Head of the North Maluku ESDM Office, Suryanto Andili, revealed the term 'Medan Block' in the trial of the defendant Abdul Gani Kasuba. This name is often used in the Mining Business Permit (IUP) process in North Maluku.

At that time, Suryanto explained that the Medan Block referred to the Mayor of Medan Bobby Nasution after being asked by the prosecutor. Meanwhile, on different occasions, former North Maluku Governor Abdul Gani Kasuba said the term referred to Kahiyang as Jokowi's son who is also the wife of Bobby.
