This is because PDIP does not have enough seats to carry regional head candidates alone. PDIP only gets 15 seats in the DKI Jakarta DPRD in the 2024 General Election. "Because PDIP needs seven more seats, right, at least seven more seats. PKS, for example, PKS also needs four more seats, for example, this is exciting, Bang Biem (Jakarta Axis Coordinator). For example, dare not, for example, PKS is like that, bringing Mr. Ahok, for example. Well, that's amazing, for example," said Djarot at the PDIP DPP Office, Jakarta, Antara, Tuesday, August 13. According to Djarot, the party bearing the symbol of a white-nosed bull has qualified cadres to advance in the Jakarta Pilkada. He also mentioned the names of Ahok to Rano Karno who entered the pilkada exchange. "We need to work with other parties, what does it mean? In Jakarta, there is actually a lot of potential for leaders who understand and have a good track record in Jakarta. So, not only Ridwan Kamil, right?" asked Djarot. "We still have Pak Ahok proven, Mr. Anies can also do it, then Bang Rano also has a good track record, yes, because he is Betawi too, yes, Bang Rano is Doel, he has experience in Banten, there are still many," he continued. In addition, PDIP is also currently establishing intense communication with the National Awakening Party (PKB). "We have (communicated), the PDI-P has built communication with parties, especially for example with PKB, we have built communication," added Djarot. PKS spokesman Muhammad Kholid said that the Anies Baswedan-Shohibul Iman (AMAN) duet in the 2024 DKI Jakarta Pilkada had expired. This is because the decision letter period to carry AMAN is only valid from June 25 to August 4, 2024 "So, the previous PKS DPP decision that we plan to carry Mr. Anies-Sohibul Iman and our framework will take place from the declaration from June 25 to August 4 yesterday," said Kholid at a press conference at the PKS DPP Office, South Jakarta, last Saturday.
