JAKARTA - Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Karyoto rotated his staff ahead of the 2024 simultaneous Regional Head Election (Pilkada) contestation. It was recorded that dozens of police chiefs were replaced.

The rotation of the position is stated in the numbers ST/271/VIII/KEP/2024 and ST/272/VIII/KEP/2024 which were signed by Karo HR Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Langgeng Purnomo on behalf of the Kapolda Metro Jaya.

Regarding the transfer and rotation of positions, the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi mentioned things that are common for the refreshment of the Polri institution.

"Mutasi sebagai tour of duty dan pengargaran organisasi," ujar Ade kepada VOI, Sabtu, 10 Agustus.
