Often Absent From Investigation, Central Java Prosecutor's Office Arrests Haryanto, A Corruption Suspect, YAKKAP Blora

The prosecutor's office arrested Haryanto as a suspect in the alleged corruption case in the capital investment of the Angkasa Pura Employee Welfare Foundation (YAKKAP) in Blora Regency, Central Java (Central Java).

Haryanto was arrested several times because he was absent from the summons for examination by the Central Java High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) investigators.

"The suspect has been properly summoned three times for questioning, but has never fulfilled the summons," said Head of the Central Java Attorney General's Office, Arfan Triono, in Semarang, Friday, August 9, as reported by Antara.

Afhan said the suspect Haryanto was arrested at a boarding house in Cepu, Blora Regency.

Haryanto, who has been named a suspect in the corruption case in the capital investment of YAKKAP Blora since November 2023 with a state loss of Rp. 5 billion, has never fulfilled the prosecutor's summons since January 2024.

Currently, the suspect is being held in Semarang Prison while undergoing further legal proceedings.

The alleged corruption case, YAKKAP, originated from the foundation's financed development.

After the house was built and sold entirely, the loan funds for the construction capital of the 42 housing units were never returned to the foundation.
