TemanGGung - Temanggung Police, Central Java, detained the perpetrators of the crime of persecution on behalf of Fanny Panggih Pradita (37), a resident of Karansewang Hamlet, Kebumen Village, Pringsurat, Temanggung Regency. Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Temanggung Police, AKP Didik Tri Wibowo, said that the victim was Slamet Rahayu (51) a resident of Karansewang Hamlet, Kebumen Village, Pringsurat District. The incident took place when the victim was about to return from Riyadi's house in Kebondalem Hamlet, Pringsurat Village on a motorbike. While at Pertigan Kebondalem, the victim was intercepted by someone riding a black Supra motorcycle. Immediately, the reported person immediately met the victim and carried out an attack using a sharp weapon on the victim. Then there was persecution between the victim and the reported party, and the victim tried to seize the reported sharp weapon. after being able to secure the sharp weapon belonging to the reported victim screamed for help from local residents. "For this incident, the victim suffered lacerations to the right ear, bruises on the head and a cut on the back of the neck. Then the perpetrator was secured to the Pringsurat Police," he said in Temanggung, Antara, Friday, August 9. The police managed to confiscate, among others, a sharp weapon of the bendo type with a brown handle made of wood, a jamper jacket, and a motorcycle. Didik Tri Wibowo said the perpetrators of the persecution were charged with Article 351 paragraph 1 of Law Number 1 of 1946 concerning the Criminal Code.

"Whoever deliberately, and has planned to abuse someone, is sentenced to a maximum of two years and eight months or a maximum fine of Rp. 4,500," he said.
