The Attorney General's Office Monitors Ronald Tannur's Presence Through Immigration

The East Java High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) and the Surabaya District Attorney's Office (Kejari) are said to continue to coordinate with Immigration to monitor the whereabouts of Gregorius Ronald Tannur.

This step was taken to anticipate Gregorius Ronald Tannur leaving the state family after being acquitted in the alleged murder case against Dini Sera Afrianti.

"The District Attorney and the High Prosecutor's Office continue to coordinate with Immigration to monitor the person concerned, his whereabouts. Do not let him travel abroad," said Head of the Attorney General's Office (AGO) Harli Siregar to reporters, Friday, July 9.

In addition, the public prosecutor (JPU) is said to be compiling a memorandum of cassation. It is known, the team of prosecutors has registered and signed a deed of statement of cassation memory to the Supreme Court (MA).

"So now with a team already in the District Attorney's Office and the East Java High Prosecutor's Office is preparing a memorandum of cassation and of course there will be internal exposures," he said.

"Because there are facts found in the trial process, they will be studied for the obstacles given by the panel of judges," continued Harli.

Later, the contents of the cassation memory from the public prosecutor will clarify the facts that have been revealed in the trial in the first instance court.

"The prosecutor will counter the facts obtained during the trial," said Harli.

Gregorius Ronald Tannur is known to have been charged with Article 338 of the Criminal Code on charges of murder with a maximum penalty of 12 years in prison.

However, the panel of judges actually sentenced him to acquittal. One of the considerations is that the cause of Dini's death in Sera Afrianti was not because she was run over but because she contained alcohol in her stomach.
