In Order To Pay Debt, Man From Surabaya In Bali Embezzles Company Money Of IDR 148 Million

East Denpasar Police, Bali, arrested a man with the initials RAP (35) from Surabaya, East Java, for embezzling company money to pay off debts.

Head of Public Relations of Denpasar Police, AKP Ketut Sukadi, said that due to embezzlement by the company perpetrators suffered a loss of Rp. 148,073,000.

"From the results of the company's audit, it suffered a loss of Rp. 148,073,000," said AKP Sukadi, Thursday, August 8.

Embezzlement of funds was carried out by the perpetrators at PT Sukses Dhafa Amerta. The reporter who conducted the audit found that the embezzlement of funds was not deposited with the company.

"So the complainant was given the power of attorney by the company to report the incident to the police for further processing," he added.

Through the report, the police conducted an investigation regarding the whereabouts of the perpetrators. The perpetrator was arrested.

"As a result of the interrogation, the perpetrator admitted to embezzling in office by taking money from consumer shops and not depositing it to the company or to PT. Sukses Dhafa Amerta. The money taken is used for daily needs and paying debts," he said.
