Call PBNU Has The Right To Evaluate PKB, Hanif Dharmakiri Ultimatum Gus Choi: Take Care Of Your Own Party!

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the Hanif Dhakiri National Awakening Party (PKB), gave an ultimatum to Effendi Choirie or Gus Choi to take care of his own party and not to take part in boosting PKB. The reason is, Gus Choi is currently a NasDem Party administrator so that his statement is considered to be able to damage interparty relations.

Moreover, yesterday, Gus Choi said that the Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) Executive Board could evaluate and reorganize the PKB. Because he said, PKB would not exist without PBNU.

"Mas Effendi Choirie is the administrator of the NasDem Party. Go to the party itself! Why do you join the PKB obok-obok? It's unethical! It can damage inter-party relations," said Hanif Dharmakiri to reporters, Thursday, August 8.

According to Hanif, Gus Choi's behavior in boosting PKB can be reported directly to the Chairman of the NasDem Party, Surya Paloh.

"Later we will report it to Bang Suryo Paloh as the Head of NasDem, so that the party will be subject to party discipline," he said.

The Minister of Manpower during the Working Cabinet of President Joko Widodo agreed with Gus Choi's statement that PKB and Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) did not have a structural relationship. Hanif said that PKB and PBNU do have different entities.

"PKB is a political party that is under the law of political parties, NU is a mass organization that is under the umbrella of the Ormas Law. Each has organizational sovereignty, has its own AD / ART, and has its own duties and responsibilities. So don't disturb each other, don't grab each other, you have to respect each other," said Hanif. Hanif reminded us that the seizure was an act against the law. Moreover, one of the founders of PKB, namely the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ma'ruf Amin, also said that. "Against the law, if someone is involved in a grab. That's right. KH Ma'ruf Amin, Mr. Our Vice President and one of the founders of PKB, also emphasized the same thing," said Hanif.

Hanif also admitted that he was confused about seeing PBNU now. According to him, PBNU under the leadership of Yahya Cholil Staquf (Gus Yahya) and Saifullah Yusuf (Gus Ipul) is strange. "I also don't know what really happened to PBNU under their leadership, until NU was involved in many problems, then his dignity and image fell into the eyes of the public," said the former Chairman of the National Guard. Hanif was also surprised, Gus Yahya and Gus Ipul were diligent in campaigning for civilization and peace, but sparked divisions among fellow NU citizens.

"He said he wanted high politics but instead was busy taking care of practical politics and wanted to damage PKB. This is paradoxical and ironic. I can't imagine the sadness of the NU muassis (founders) seeing the reality of NU at this time," concluded Hanif. Because PKB was founded by PBNU on the aspirations of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) residents who want to own political vehicles.

This was conveyed by Gus Choi after giving information regarding PKB's relationship with PBNU to the Special Committee at the PBNU building, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, August 7.

According to Gus Choi, the presence of PKB until now has a close connection with PBNU as its founder. The reason is, PKB was founded by the first PBNU Chairman Abdurrahman Wahid or Gus Dur. Even the current chairman and secretary general of PBNU, namely Gus Yahya and Gus Ipul, also gave their ID cards to register PKB with the Ministry of Justice.

"So brothers and sisters, it means that the current presence of PKB is still related to NU. Now NU is the founder, so the conclusion that founded PKB means PBNU representing NU residents," said Gus Choi.

According to him, PBNU has the right to evaluate PKB travel and correct and reorganize PKB if the NU party deviates from the NU 1926 khittah.

"Thus, NU or PBNU has the right to evaluate PKB travel, it has the right to correct. Not interfere, not interfere, because the history is like that, it has the right to evaluate, correct, or rearrange. This is where the difference between the National Awakening Party and other parties," he continued.
