Viral Video Of Women Evicted By Security Guard On Sanur Beach, Dispar Affirms There Is No Private Beach

DENPASAR- Videos uploaded by women about Sanur Beach went viral on social media. This woman sobbed to tell that she was kicked out while sitting on the beach in Sanur, Denpasar, Bali.

In her upload, a woman named Mirah Sugandhi told a story and complained about being kicked out by the hotel security guard while sitting on the beach.

Mirah was shocked because of this expulsion. According to him, the beach is a public space, not privacy.

"This beach belongs to the public. This is a very wide beach. I just found out that hotels can have beaches. I'm still in shock and why I was kicked out," Mirah said in a viral video, Wednesday, March 24.

When contacted, Mirah explained that the eviction incident took place on Tuesday, March 23, afternoon. He was irritated by the security guard and hoped that the incident would not happen again.

"Hopefully this will not happen again," said Mirah when confirmed.

Meanwhile, Head of the Denpasar Tourism Office, Dezire Mulyani, emphasized that there are no private beaches in the area.

"Nothing, there belongs to the river basin hall of the central government," said Mulyani.

Dispar already knows the viral video of Mirah Sugandhi being kicked out by the resort security guard.

"It shouldn't have happened like that. We will approach the hotel if it really happened like that. That beach belongs to the public, not the hotel. It is clear that something like that should not happen like that," he said.

In addition, Dispar will coordinate with the Association of Indonesian Hotels and Restaurants (PHRI) and the local community to follow up on events that have ended up going viral on social media.

"Yes, I will check first, who will reprimand. Is it true or not. This is viral. But I did not immediately affirm or deny it because I only received reports from the staff," said Mulyani.
