JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has confiscated a number of items suspected of being related to allegations of corruption in the provision of credit facilities from the Indonesian Export Financing Agency (LPEI). Among them are billions of rupiah in cash, hundreds of jewelry to dozens of precious metals. KPK has confiscated some of them in the form of money of approximately Rp. 4.6 billion; six units of vehicles; 13 precious metals; nine watches; 37 luxury bags; and approximately 100 jewelry consisting of rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and necklaces," said KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardika to reporters at the KPK Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, quoted on Tuesday, August 6. Previously reported, the KPK named seven suspects in a corruption case in the provision of credit facilities from the Indonesian Export Financing Agency (LPEI).
