Wife takes master's degree abroad, Kaesang's election journey becomes more grey

The Secretary General of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Raja Juli Antoni was also present to accompany PSI General Chair Kaesang Pangarep in announcing the recommendation of a regional head candidate promoted by PSl at Senayan Park, Central Jakarta on Monday 5 August 2024.

In addition, Kaesang's wife, Erina Gudono, plans to continue her master program abroad which is an important consideration factor for Kaesang in determining his future political steps.

"It's part of personal development, so Mas Kaesang's personal level is more towards preferences to accompany his wife," he added.

In the event, Kaesang was also present. On the other hand, if Kaesang participated in the grand event once every 5 years, he would not be afraid if he had to fight against rivals, such as former DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan and former West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil.

"If I go forward to the regional election against Mr. Anies, I will dare, I will even dare against Mr. Ridwan Kamil," he said.

He also admitted that Ridwan Kamil's electability and capacity were quite large plus his success in leading West Java.

"I think Mr. Ridwan Kamil also has enough capacity to become the next governor of Jakarta," he said.
