Secretary General Of PKB Reveals Reasons For Not Fulfilling PBNU Invitations: Like Dagelan

JAKARTA - Secretary General (Secretary General) of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Hasanuddin Wahid revealed the reason he did not comply with the invitation of the Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) Executive Board.

Originally, PBNU invited Hasanuddin to his office to ask for information to explore the issue of disharmony between PBNU and PKB.

Hasanuddin emphasized that his party did not accept the attitude of PBNU General Chair Yahya Cholil Staquf and PBNU Secretary General Saifullah Yusuf who seemed to be pitting NU residents against PKB.

"Then suddenly made the team invite me. It's like a joke. What for? How could I fulfill their invitation? Our organization has nothing to do with Gus Yahya and Saiful. We are different entities," Hasanuddin said when confirmed, Monday, August 5.

Hasanuddin still remembers Gus Yahya's statement confirming that the position of PKB in the 2024 election was not an NU representation.

Therefore, Hasanuddin was surprised because after the election was over, PKB was said to have deviated from NU's teachings.

"Once after the election, the PKB votes rose drastically, the seats rose significantly from more than the 2150s seats of all levels. Eh, it is said that we deviated, and even damaged," he said.

Hasanuddin also claimed that the party led by Muhaimin Iskandar is currently still "healthy". This can be seen from the invitation of the elected 2024 President Prabowo Subianto to invite PKB to join the government.

"That means we are sexy and interesting. If someone accuses us of being damaged, this fact actually explains who is really damaged," he said.

Hasanuddin was previously asked to come to the PBNU office at 12.30 WIB, however, he never came. Rais Syuriah PBNU who is also a member of the panel team Cholil Nafis regretted Hasanuddin's absence.

"It should have been present at 12.30 according to our invitation, but we waited until 2.30 earlier, I also came down from above and there was no confirmation of his arrival. Even though it was very necessary for him to attend," said Cholil at the PBNU office, Central Jakarta.
