KPK Waits For Prosecutor's Analysis Of The Medan Block That Dragged Bobby Nasution's Name In The Abdul Gani Kasuba Case

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is waiting for the analysis of a team of prosecutors related to the 'Blok Medan' which dragged the name of the Mayor of Medan Bobby Nasution.

This was conveyed by KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika in response to the trial with the defendant former North Maluku Governor Abdul Gani Kasuba at the Ternate Corruption Court on Wednesday, July 31. Bobby's name was released from the statement of the Head of the North Maluku Energy and Mineral Resources Service (ESDM) Suryanto Andili.

"Yes, we'll just leave it to the public prosecutor, yes, whether the need for the trial really needs to call or not," Tessa told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Monday, August 5.

Tessa said there was no information regarding the summons of Bobby or his wife, Kahiyang Ayu, who incidentally was the daughter of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). "Later, if there is an update, we will convey it later," he said.

The Head of the North Maluku ESDM Office, Suryanto Andili, revealed the term 'Medan Block' in the trial of the defendant Abdul Gani Kasuba. This name is often used in the mining business license (IUP) process in North Maluku.

At that time, after being asked by the prosecutor, Suryanto explained that 'Medan Block' refers to the Mayor of Medan Bobby Nasution. Meanwhile, Abdul Gani actually called 'Medan Block' referring to Kahiyang as Jokowi's son who is also Bobby's wife.
