Allegedly About To Brawl, 10 Students Bring Sajam In East Jakarta Arrested

JAKARTA - The police have arrested 10 students suspected of being involved in a brawl at Raya Condet, East Jakarta (Jaktim), Sunday, August 4, early in the morning.

East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lillipaly said the initials of the 10 students who were arrested were MF (17), ANU (16), MFH (15), N (16), R (16), A (14), RZ (16), ZD (19), and EWW (15).

"It is true that 10 perpetrators who are still students have been arrested by members," said Nicolas when confirmed, Sunday, August 4.

Nicolas explained that initially it was revealed that there had been information related to a group of teenagers who had gathered at the crime scene (TKP).

Based on information, the officers went straight to the scene and buried the students. During the search, a number of sharp weapons were found in the hands of the perpetrators.

"5 Sajam types of sickles, 1 Sajam type of corbek, 7 cellphones, and 4 motorcycles," he said.

Based on these findings, the 10 students were taken to the East Jakarta Metro Police. The goal is for further action.
