Still Fluctuating, The Price Of A Number Of Natural Food Materials Increases

Food prices, including vegetables and meat, are still experiencing fluctuations in various parts of Indonesia. This can be seen from the report of the National Food Agency (Bapanas) through inspections at the retail traders level.

Launching ANTARA, premium rice is at the level of IDR 15,750 per kilogram (kg) and curly red chilies IDR 44,180 per kg, as of August 4, 2024.

Based on data from the Badanas Price Panel, which was reported on Sunday, at 08.00 WIB, the price of premium rice rose slightly by 1.42 percent or Rp220 to Rp15,750 per kg.

Then medium rice also rose slightly by 0.44 percent or Rp60 to Rp13,610 per kg; then Bulog's rice supply stability and food prices (SPHP) also slightly increased by 0.64 percent or Rp80 to Rp12,660 per kg.

Meanwhile, the price of shallot commodities rose 1.27 percent or Rp310 to Rp27,140 per kg; while garlic fell 0.32 percent or Rp130 to Rp39,900 per kg.

Then the price of curly red chili rose slightly by 1.96 percent or Rp850 to Rp44,180 per kg; while red cayenne pepper fell 0.50 percent or Rp350 to Rp69,120 per kg.

Next, the price of pure beef rose 0.36 percent or Rp490 to Rp135,790 per kg; while pure beef decreased 0.17 percent or Rp60 to Rp34,480 per kg; but broiler eggs increased slightly by 0.52 percent or Rp150 to Rp29,080 per kg.

Dry seed (import) soybeans were observed to have increased by 1.01 percent or Rp120 to Rp12,060 per kg; meanwhile, consumption sugar fell 0.28 percent or Rp50 to 17,890 per kg.

The simple packaged cooking oil also fell 0.33 percent or Rp60 to Rp17,940 per kg; as well as the bulk cooking oil slightly decreased by 1.44 percent or Rp230 to Rp15,770 per kg.

The price of bulk flour was observed to decrease slightly by 1.46 percent or Rp150 to Rp10,100 per kg; then the flour for non-packaging flour also fell 0.98 percent or Rp130 to Rp13,180 per kg.

Corn at the farmer level rose 2.81 percent or Rp160 to Rp5,850 per kg; while fine salt with sodium fell 1.65 percent or Rp190 to Rp11,330 per kg.

Meanwhile, the price of convex fish rose to 5.93 percent or Rp2,170 to Rp39,750 per kg; while tuna fish also rose 1.22 percent or Rp380 to Rp31,640 per kg; while milkfish fell 2.79 percent or Rp920 to Rp32,010 per kg.
