42-Year-Old Woman Arrested For Having Sex With Teenager While Jabat Mayor Lousiana

JAKARTA - The former mayor of Louisiana, United States (US), who resigned from his post a few days ago was arrested on charges of having sex with minors.

Reported by CBS News, Friday, August 2,ulan Roberts (42) was entered into the detention center of Paroki Beauregard on charges of sexual cases and contributed to juvenile delinquency.

Louisiana State Police said the Beauregard Parish Sheriff's office asked the Special Victims Unit at the state police to investigate the complaint against punct Roberts on charges of sexual relations with a teenager.

Investigators interviewed two minors, one of whom was a victim, police said. Both confirmed that Antonio Roberrs had sexual intercourse with one of the teenage victims while serving as mayor.

The perpetrator's lawyer, Robert Johnson, issued a statement saying his client was innocent, WAFB-TV reported.

"My client was aware of the warrant last night, although he was not contacted for questioning before investigators received the warrant," Johnson said.

"My client insists that he is innocent and in fact he is innocent. He has not been charged with a crime and/or convicted of any crime," he continued.
