Acep Adang Appointed As West Java Cawagub, PKB: Installed With Dedi Ok, RK Is Also Ok

JABAR - PKB appointed Acep Adang Ruhiat as a candidate for deputy governor (cawagub) of West Java to run for the 2024 Pilkada.

Deputy of PKB, Jazilul Fawaid assessed that Acep is suitable to be paired with strong candidates for governor of West Java, both with Dedi Mulyadi and Ridwan Kamil (RK). "Yes, we are communicating both with political parties and with candidates who are considered to appear. There are two, there are Mr. Ridwan Kamil, there is Mr. Dedi Mulyadi," said Jazilul at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Friday, August 2. Jazilul believes that as Chairman of the West Java PKB Syuro Council as well as the son of PKB founder KH Ilyas Ruhiat Cipasung, Acep has political power that can boost his duet colleague in the West Java Pilgub.

"What is clear is that Kiai Acep Adang Ruhiat's superiority represents the ulama. So it is installed with Mr. Dedi okay, installed with Mr. RK okay," said Jazilul. However, Jazilul admitted that he had not received a report on where to support Acep Adang Ruhiat. However, according to him, the party team and Cipasung alumni have moved.

"Where will the meeting point be or where the weight will be, so which one will open. Until today I have not received the report," continued the Deputy Chairperson of the MPR.
