The Attorney General's Intelligence Team (Satgas SIRI) has arrested a fugitive, a member of the TNI with the initials SDH, who is included in the DPO of the Deputy Attorney General for Military Crimes related to a corruption case of lending. Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) of the Attorney General's Office, Harli Siregar, said the arrest took place in the early hours of Tuesday in Klapanunggal, Bogor Regency. "This suspect's security activity is related to the investigation of the alleged corruption case in the distribution of BRIguna's BRIguna loan, the Army Strategic Reserves and Transport Battalion (Bekang) Cibinong in 2016 — 2023," he said in a statement received in Jakarta, Antara, Wednesday, July 31. The SDH suspect was previously the payer for Bekang Kostrad Cibinong TNI AD. The suspect, together with BRI personnel, namely foreign workers, credit administration officers, and credit cutoffs, has harmed the bank as a state-owned bank of around Rp55 billion. "Through the Prosecutor's Sow program, Attorney General St. Burhanuddin asked his staff to monitor and immediately arrest fugitives who are still on the loose for execution for legal certainty," he said. In addition, he continued, the Attorney General also appealed to all fugitives in the DPO of the Indonesian Prosecutor's Office to immediately surrender and be held accountable for their actions.
