Post-Southport Riots: 22 Police Injured, Officials And Ambulance Cars Burned

JAKARTA - Masses protested against the stabbing of children in Taylor Swift-themed dance class in Southport England clashed with the police.

According to The Sun's observation, the masses burned police cars and ambulances. While 22 policemen were injured, 11 of them were taken to the hospital.

Eight residents were also seriously injured, including fractures, cut wounds, broken nose, and concussion.

Clashes between police and mass protests took place in front of a mosque in Southport on Tuesday evening, July 30 local time. The location of the riot was not far from where the teenage stabbing of children in the area was stabbed.

In addition to throwing stones and riot police bottles on guard carrying K-9 dogs to control the crowd, the crowd also looted shops in Southport.

Currently, the masses have been successfully dispersed by the police. The officers were cleaning the area in front of the mosque and were still on guard to anticipate the aftershocks to make trouble.

For this incident, the Merseyside police implemented Article 60 of the 1994 Criminal Justice Act and Public Order, by giving officers the authority to stop and search people in the area to minimize serious violence.
