As A PK Witness, Dedi Mulyadi Told Judge Saka Tatal Not At The Location Of The Vina And Eky Cirebon Cases

Dedi Mulyadi was present as a witness at the Judicial Review (PK) trial for the 2016 murder case of Vina and Eky filed by the Saka Tatal applicant at the Cirebon District Court (PN), West Java. In this trial, the petitioner's legal team brought the figure to witness the Testimonium de auditu or give testimony obtained from hearing other people's stories and statements. "I was asked to come again by the applicant's legal team today to provide information, because I interviewed various parties, especially those related to Saka Tatal," said Dedi at the Cirebon District Court, as reported by Antara, Wednesday, July 31. He explained that he only provided information based on the results of his interviews with a number of parties on the Kang Dedi Mulyadi Channel YouTube channel, which broadcast various information regarding the Vina and Eky cases. One of the information needed in this PK trial, namely related to Saka Tatal, was not at the scene when the deaths of Vina and Eky occurred in 2016. In legal glasses, he said, this could be considered as an alibi that could support Saka Tatal's PK application to be granted by the Supreme Court (MA). "I am not someone who knows about the events in 2016. I am a person who tries to present various information that may be needed because of humanitarian factors and responsibilities as an Indonesian citizen," he said. Furthermore, Dedi stated that he was present at this trial because he was asked by the applicant's attorney through a letter sent to him on July 9, 2024 and there was no other purpose. He hopes that this PK trial can produce objective decisions, as well as provide justice for all parties. "For Dede (witness) why not attend, because the lawyer is preparing Dede as a witness for the other seven convicts, who according to his lawyer will soon be submitted to the Supreme Court in the near future," he said.
