Special Committee Starts Working Today, PBNU Summons Former Secretary General Of PKB Lukman Edy Later In The Afternoon

JAKARTA - The Special Committee (Pansus) in charge of exploring the Nahdlatul Ulama relations and the National Awakening Party (PKB) or the PKB Special Committee will start working today, Wednesday, July 31. The Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU) Executive Board has also sent a summons to the former Secretary General of PKB Muhammad Lukman Edy on Wednesday, July 31, this afternoon. In a summons letter with letter number 2077/PB.03/B.I.03.08/99/07/2024 which circulated last night, Lukman Edy was summoned to provide information regarding the relationship between Nahdlatul Ulama and the National Awakening Party (PKB). The letter has also been signed by PBNU Deputy Chairperson KH Amin Said Husni and Deputy Secretary General Faisal Saimima. Meanwhile, Lukman was summoned to attend the 5th Floor of the PBNU Building, Jalan Kramat Raya, Central Jakarta, this afternoon at 12.30 WIB. "We hereby invite your presence to provide information on the relationship between Nahdlatul Ulama and the National Awakening Party," the letter reads.

Previously, the chairman of PBNU Umarsyah had confirmed the summons of Lukman Edy to PBNU. "Indeed, starting tomorrow (Wednesday, red) the team led by KH Anwar Iskandar works. But the details are like what, we'll see at the PBNU office," Umarsyah said when confirmed, Tuesday, July 30, evening.
