The Army Chief of Staff said that apart from Brigadier General Simon, who is a former Kasrem 161/Wira Sakti, the rest are retired retired journalists from the Indonesian Army.

He said that if the TNI AD is still active if they want to run as regional heads, the requirement is to submit a letter of resignation.
