Support Forward In The 2024 Gubernatorial Election, Kaesang Optimistic Inspector General Ahmad Luthfi Can Advance Central Java

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Kaesang Pangarep assessed that Inspector General of Police Ahmad Luthfi was the right person to be nominated as Governor of Central Java.

"This is for the progress of Central Java in the future and I think Mr. Luthfi has that ability," said Kaesang when met at the Gaskan Minisoccer Arena, North Jakarta, Monday, July 30.

This statement also confirmed Kaesang's support for the two-star police to lead Central Java.

Ahmad Luthfi is considered worthy of leading Central Java because of several factors, one of which is because he was the Central Java Police Chief.

This makes Ahmad Luthfi have experience in dealing with various problems in Central Java Province.

Kaesang himself did not consider his support for Ahmad Luthfi a sign that he had given up the opportunity to become Governor of Central Java.

"So don't be too low to look willing or not. What is certain is that Central Java as my birthplace, the province where I was born, can move forward in the future," said Kaesang.

Previously, last Monday, the Gerindra Party's Central Executive Board announced carrying the Central Java Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Ahmad Luthfi as a candidate for governor in the 2024 Central Java Provincial Head Election.

"Central Java, Mr. Prabowo decided that Inspector General of Police Drs. H. Ahmad Luthfi will become a candidate for governor," said Secretary General of the Gerindra Party DPP Ahmad Muzani at the parliament complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday.

Muzani added that the Gerindra Party's decision to carry Ahmad Luthfi in the 2024 Central Java Pilkada had been communicated with other political parties that were members of KIM.
