JAKARTA - A British tourist was rushed to hospital after being stabbed while on vacation on Tenerife Island, Spain on Monday, July 29.
Citing Metro.co.uk, the 22-year-old teenager was seriously injured as a result of being stabbed in the stomach at the Playa de las Americas resort. The victim was taken to the Our Lady of Candelaria University Hospital in Santa Cruz.
The alleged perpetrator has been arrested by the police after a report related to this incident was filed by phone call at 6.30 this morning local time.
Without giving further information, the police said the investigation was still ongoing.
The identity of the alleged perpetrator has not yet been disclosed. The police will only determine whether the suspect is a suspect or released after an examination for the next 72 hours.
