JAKARTA - The General Election Commission (KPU) determined the results of the recapitulation of the legislative member elections of the DPR after the decision of the Constitutional Court dispute (MK), Sunday, July 28. The results confirm that the PDI-P remains superior with the acquisition of 25,384,673 votes.MK ordered the recapitulation of the Legislative Election of the DPR in three regions, namely the electoral district (Dapil) Banten II, the East Kalimantan Dapil, and the East Java IV Dapil. The results of this national recapitulation were determined by the KPU after ratifying the results of the recapitulation of the three regions. "The number of valid votes nationally is 151,793,293 votes, as stated in the form," said KPU chairman Mochammad Afifuddin in the KPU building, Jakarta, quoted from ANTARA. He explained that the valid votes of each DPR candidate will be stated in the KPU's Decree on the Change of the National Election Results for Simultaneous Elections in 2024. For this reason, he issued KPU Decree Number 1050 of 2024 concerning Amendments to KPU Decree Number 360 of 2024 concerning the determination of the results of all elections nationally in the 2024 election. "This decision came into effect on the date set, set in Jakarta on July 28, 2024," said Afifuddin.
