Preparation For The 2024 Pilkada, KPU Prepares PKPU Related To Logistics

JAKARTA - The General Election Commission (KPU) is preparing for the 2024 Pilkada. KPU chairman Mochammad Afifuddin said the KPU had prepared a logistics-related KPU Regulation (PKPU). "Regarding the Pilkada we have prepared PKPU related to logistics, that's rather urgent," Afif said at a press conference at the KPU Building, Central Jakarta, Sunday evening, July 28. In addition, the KPU will prepare PKPU related to campaign funds. Afif also said that in the near future the KPU will be set up a temporary voter list (DPS). "Furthermore, we will also prepare PKPU related to campaign funds, campaign campaigns and also of course the nomination for another month will be opened. We are preparing everything," explained Afif. All stages related to the 2024 Pilkada are still ongoing, including consolidating with all ranks. On the same occasion, Afif revealed that the KPU and Bawaslu agreed to hold technical guidance.

This is done to provide understanding and reduce errors against the rules in the implementation of the elections in November. The existence of bimtek is a way to mitigate potential problems that may occur. "We have agreed with other fellow organizers, Bawaslu in this context, to do some kind of joint bimtek, unite or provide the same understanding regarding the rules to reduce the potential for misunderstanding or different perspectives on the rules that may exist in the implementation of the elections later," he concluded.
