PKB Opens Opportunities For Andika Perkasa From PDIP In The 2024 Central Java Pilkada

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Jazilul Fawaid or known as Gus Jazil revealed, PKB opened the opportunity to carry General TNI (Ret.) Andika Perkasa from the PDIP in the 2024 Central Java gubernatorial election. Gus Jazil stated, PKB will communicate with PDIP and other parties because of the limited seats in the DPRD forcing them to form a coalition. "In this context, PKB does not have enough seats in the DPRD to nominate its own governor and deputy governor candidates. We will consider formally supporting Gus Yusuf to advance in Central Java," he added. Gus Jazil, currently Gus Yusuf is actively communicating with various political parties in Central Java to form a solid coalition. However, until now, the official declaration was only made by Gus Yusuf. "Currently, Gus Yusuf is still in the process of embracing various parties to form a coalition. Details regarding the candidate for deputy governor and coalition structure in Central Java are still under discussion," explained Gus Jazil.

Previously, PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto said his party continued to communicate with PKB regarding regional elections in several areas including Central Java. "We continue to communicate with PKB for regional elections in Jakarta, East Java and Central Java. Intensive coordination is carried out between Ahmad Basarah from PDIP and PKB," said Hasto.
