SEMARANG - A homeowner on Jalan Centuryrahman Saleh, Semarang City, Central Java, with the initials AH reported six content creators to the police for making horror video content about his home on social media YouTube and TikTok. AH's attorney, Alif Abdurrahman said, there were three YouTubers and three TikTok celebrities who were reported to the Central Java Police and Semarang Police. "Reported for the crime of entering the yard of the house without a permit, vandalism, theft, and defamation," he said in Semarang, Antara, Thursday, July 25. As a result of the horror content located in AH's house, the property, which is in the process of being sold, was canceled. "There have been offers from eight potential buyers. However, due to the horror home content, everything has finally resigned," he added. Alif said that the content creator had never asked permission to enter the property that the AH family had owned for years. In fact, a number of AH's belongings, such as jewelry, nine air conditioning rooms, and television went missing after the house was used to create the horror content. The content of the horror house located on AH's property, said Alif, was made around October 2023. Around November 2023, he continued, AH found his house in disarray with various remnants of property to make horror videos that were still at the location. For the losses he suffered, he asked the police to immediately follow up on his client's report. "As a form of learning. Freedom of expression should not harm others and violate the rules," he said. Meanwhile, Kasatreskrim Polrestabes Semarang Kompol Andika Dharma Sena said that investigators were still investigating the report.
