National Search and Relief Agency (Basarnas) Bali previously conducted a search after receiving reports of the four hikers getting lost on Mount Sanghyang.

"We received the report that night at around 21.30 p.m. local time from Sang Ayu's mother", said the Head of the Bali Basarnas Office, Gede Darmada, Monday, March 22.

From reports received, the approximate location is at coordinates 8 ° 20.068'S - 115 ° 6.828'E. The identities of the four people are AA Anom Eka Juni (39), Ni Ketut Sumariani (40), Ninik (40), and Dek Dus (40).

After searching since midnight, finally, the four hikers were found safe at around 10.52 a.m. local time this afternoon.

"They were evacuated down from Mount Sanghyang, and at 12.37 p.m. local time they arrived at Gunung Sari Village, Penebel Subdistrict and then taken to Penebel Police", Darmada said.
