Bus Accident On Cipali Toll Road, Postgraduate Director Of Pamulang University Dies

MAJALENGKA - A deadly accident happened to a bus carrying a group of high-ranking officials from Pamulang University (Unpam) South Tangerang (Tangsel) on the Cikopo-Palimanan (Cipali) Toll Road, Pejagan KM 170, Majalengka Regency, West Java, on Wednesday 24 July night at around 21.30 WIB. The incident resulted in one person dying and dozens more injuries. The death toll was the Director of Pascasarjana Unpam Sarwani. The sad news for Sarwani's death has spread widely through the WhatsApp media. Condolences also emerged from the Pamulang University Accounting Bachelor's Study Program. Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rooji'un. The Pamulang University Accounting Bachelor's Study Program also mourned the death of Dr. Ir. H. Sarwani, M.T., MM., the director of Pascasarjana. Subbarto and other seriously injured victims were rushed to Mitra Plumbon Hospital, while the victim of minor injuries was treated at Mo Astra Hospital. A video recording taken by one of the victims in the bus revealed the cause of the accident. In the video, a man suspected to be a bus passenger, revealed that the accident occurred as a result of the bus crashing into iron on the toll road.

The video shows the condition of the bus that was destroyed and reports that many Unpam officials were seriously injured. There has been no official statement from the University of Pamulang regarding this incident.
