JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating the business cooperation process and the acquisition of PT Jembatan Nusantara with PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry. Three witnesses were worked on by investigators, one of whom was M. Farid Fanani (MFF) who was an employee of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry.

"The material being investigated is related to the business cooperation process and the acquisition process," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika to reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday, July 23.

Tessa said the examination was carried out today. In addition, there were also other witnesses examined, namely Irfan Maulana Muharikin (IMM) who is a civil servant (PNS) and an entrepreneur, Adjie.

Previously reported, the KPK opened an investigation into alleged corruption at PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry. Currently, four people have been prevented from leaving the country based on a letter sent to the Directorate General of Immigration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. The three people who were prevented from leaving the country were internal parties, namely HMAC, MYH, and IP. While the rest are private parties with the initials A.

In this case, the anti-corruption commission still covers the amount of losses caused by the suspects. However, the value of the company's acquisition which led to the bancakan reached Rp1.3 trillion.
