Surya Paloh: NasDem And PKB Cannot Separate, Wherever Also

Chairman of the NasDem Party, Surya Paloh, assesses that his party and the National Awakening Party (PKB) must continue to have the same political direction for the future.

Because, during the coalition in the 2024 presidential election, NasDem and PKB both received an increase in the number of seats in the parliament of the DPR RI in the Legislative Election in the same.

"This indicates that NasDem and PKB must not separate anywhere," said Surya when giving a speech at the 26th Harlah event of PKB, the Jakarta Convention Center, Tuesday, July 23.

In addition, Surya also feels that he has his own closeness to the Chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Muhaimin Iskandar. This is due to decades of political relations.

"So seeing the progress of the journey from stage by stage that has been passed, tonight I have to say, Gus Muhaimin has gone far beyond what progress I have made," explained Surya.

Continuing, PKB Chairman Muhaimin Iskandar agreed with Surya's statement. Cak Imin also thanked Surya because NasDem was willing to form a coalition in carrying himself as a vice presidential candidate in pairs with Anies Baswedan in the 2024 presidential election.

"I thank you, bro Matahari Paloh, I can participate in the 2024 presidential election, because my last moments together with my solar paloh formed a coalition that thank God can color democracy in 2024," said Cak Imin.

For information, PKB held a celebration of its 26th birthday today. A number of party leaders were also present at the 26th Harlah of the PKB. Among them are the General Chairperson (Ketum) of the NasDem Party Surya Paloh, PKS President Ahmad Syaikhu, Plt Ketum PPP Muhamad Mardiono, Hanura Chairman Oesman Sapta Odang, Garuda Chairman Ahmad Ridha Sabana.

There are a number of ketum whose presence is represented by party officials, including the Daily Chairperson of Gerindra Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Deputy Chairperson of PAN Viva Yoga Mauladi and Secretary General of PAN Eddy Soemarno, Chairman of the PDIP DPP Ahmad Basarah, Secretary General of Golkar Lodewijk F. Paulus, Deputy Democrat Benny K. Harman, to Member of the PSI Board of Trustees Isyana Bagoes Oka.

Also present were MPR Chairman Bambang Soesatyo, Setha Deputy Chairperson of the MPR Hidayat Nur Wahid and Yandri Susanto during the 26th PKB Harlah.
