Bareskrim Starts Investigating Reports Of Convicted Vina Cases On Aep To Iptu Rudiana

The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police stated that it had begun to investigate two reports from the convict's camp in the murder case of Vina Cirebon. All of them are still under investigation.

The convict's camp in the murder case of Vina Cirebon is known to have reported Aep and Dede on suspicion of giving false information. Then, the report against Iptu Rudiana related to the alleged abuse.

"Currently, the Directorate of General Crimes has received 2 reports, reports by the convicts who are currently serving a sentence that reports to Dede and Aep's brothers. Then, the second report is a report to Rudiana's brother, and all of this process is ongoing," said the Director of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri, Brigadier General Djuhandani Rahardjo Puro to reporters, Tuesday, July 23.

For the handling of reports against Aep and Dede, it is said that investigators will conduct an initial case with the reported party today.

In the initial case title, investigators will liken the perceptions to the attorneys of the convicts regarding the alleged criminal acts that occurred.

"Currently what we are planning today is to carry out the initial title, the initial title is to equalize perceptions," he said.

Meanwhile, the development with reported Iptu Rudiana was not clearly conveyed. It is only emphasized if the report file is being studied by investigators.

"So at this time the Bareksrim related to Rudiana's report is still in process. In the process, it means that investigators are currently studying the tentants of the report," said Djuhandani.

For information, seven convicts in the murder case of Vina and Eky Cirebon reported Aep and Dede on suspicion of giving false information.

The report is registered with the number LP/B/227/VII/2024/SPKT/Bareskrim Polri. The two reported parties are suspected of violating Article 242 of the Criminal Code.

Meanwhile, the report against Iptu Rudiana is registered with the number LP/B/235/VII/2024/SPKT/BARESKRIM.

In the report, Iptu Rudiana is suspected of violating Article 422 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 351 paragraph (2) of the Criminal Code, Article 333 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code, Article 335 paragraph (2) of the Criminal Code, Article 242 paragraph (2) of the Criminal Code.
