The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has transferred a large number of suspects in the alleged corruption case in the tin commodity trading system for the mining business permit (IUP) of PT Timah Tbk 2015-2022 to the South Jakarta District Attorney. Currently, there are four suspects who are still in the process of compiling case files.
"There are only 4 more suspects who are certainly still in the process of investigating and improving filing," said Head of the AGO, Harli Siregar, to reporters, Monday, July 22.
The four suspects had the initials HL, R, BG, and AA. The investigation team is said to be still trying to bring their case files.
Harli said the investigative team would do their best to complete the process in the near future.
"So what is certain is that these four suspects will be tried in the near future. Friends can see how the progress is, no one is playing games," he said.
"Today two, maybe in the near future it will be resolved soon because we are also limited by the limitation of detention," continued Harli.
In this case, there were originally 22 people named as suspects. So far, 18 of them have been transferred to the South Jakarta District Attorney, including Harvey Moeis and Helena Lim.
Both of them will languish in the Salemba Rutan at the Kejari Jakarta Selantan branch while waiting for the prosecutor to prepare an indictment.
