JAKARTA - Two residents reportedly died in an Isuzu ELF minibus accident with police number BL 7554 FL which fell into a ravine on the road to the tourist location of Pantan Terong Takengon, Bebesen District, Central Aceh Regency, on Sunday at 11.00 WIB.

Chief Executive of the Central Aceh Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) Ishak said the minibus fell into a ravine, causing two passengers to die at the scene and injuring dozens of others.

"The information is that the tourist bus from Langsa City has a total of 15 passengers," said Ishak.

According to Ishak, all accident victims, both injured and dead, have been rushed to the Datu Beru Tekengon Regional General Hospital (RSUD), Central Aceh.

Director of Datu Beru Hospital Takengon Hardi Yanis said 13 passengers who were treated at the Datu Beru Takengon hospital after the accident were in a condition of minor to moderate injuries.

Meanwhile, the two who died were also in the morgue at the hospital. The hospital is coordinating the return of the bodies.

"The 13 patients suffered minor to moderate injuries, none of whom were critical. While the two victims who died are currently in the morgue, we are still coordinating whether the two bodies will be delivered or picked up by the family," he said.
