MUI Calls For Peaceful Actions To Continue To Be Held Until Palestine Is Free

JAKARTA - Chairman of the MUI for Foreign Relations and International Cooperation, Sudarnoto Abdul Hakim, called on all levels, especially the Indonesian Muslim community to carry out peaceful demonstrations until the Palestinians are independent.

God willing, we will carry out continuous action until Palestine is independent, and until Israel does not commit genocide and colonialism, "rich Sudartono told reporters at the Horse Statue, Central Jakarta, Sunday, July 21.

Sudartono emphasized that his party fully supports the government's stance on the decision of the International Court on Israel which is considered to have violated the law.

"We support the attitude of the Indonesian Government which has emphasized its support for the decision of the international court which states that Israel is a regime that violates international law," he explained.

Therefore, he invited the public to voice their support for Palestinians.

In addition, he also asked the government to invite other countries to support the decision of the International Court.

"Not only supporting but inviting other countries to recognize Palestinian independence, therefore we call on the Government of Indonesia to be consistent with this very good attitude and communicate with other countries to jointly support international mahkmah decisions," he concluded.
