SYL's Child Was Questioned By The KPK Regarding Assets Allegedly Results Of Corruption Money Laundering At The Ministry Of Agriculture

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has examined the son of former Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo, Indira Chunda Thita on Tuesday, July 16. At that time, he was questioned about assets belonging to his father and family allegedly related to money laundering (TPPU).

"Investigated regarding the ownership of SYL's assets and his family," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika when confirmed, Thursday, July 18.

Meanwhile, the Director of Investigation of the KPK, Asep Guntur Rahayu, said that Indira's statement would be disclosed before the panel of judges. "We know the results of the examination at the trial regarding the ML problem," he told reporters.

As previously reported, Indira Chunda Thita, who is the son of former Minister of Agriculture Syahrul Yasin Limpo, did not comment much on her examination on Tuesday, July 16. Instead, she apologized for her father's actions when he left the KPK's Red and White House, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

"And apologize to the whole community to all Indonesian people, forgive us physically and mentally," said Indira to reporters at the location.

Indira stated that the family accepts whatever the decision of the Jakarta Corruption Court Panel of Judges. "Because we understand and know this is the result of a noble decision," he said.

Actually, investigators also scheduled an examination of Andi Tenri Bilang Radisyah, who is Syahrul's grandson. However, he was not present to fulfill the examination.
