Gerindra Confirms That Prabowo's Nephew Was Inaugurated By Jokowi As Deputy Minister Of Finance This Afternoon

JAKARTA - The daily chairman of the Gerindra Party DPP, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, confirmed the news that Thomas Djiwandono would be appointed as Deputy Minister of Finance (Wamenkeu) on Thursday, July 18, this afternoon.

The Elected President's nephew, Prabowo Subianto, will be sworn in by President Joko Widodo at 15.00 WIB.

"We received news that this afternoon Mr. Thomas Djiwandono will be inaugurated as Deputy Minister of Finance," said Dasco in a short message, Thursday, July 18. However, the Deputy Speaker of the DPR did not disclose further information regarding the plan to inaugurate the Gerindra Party. It is known that President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) information will inaugurate three Deputy Ministers this afternoon at 15.00 WIB, Thursday, July 18 was conveyed by the Presidential Special Staff Coordinator, Ari Dwipayana.

"Today, July 18, 2024, at 15.00 WIB, the inauguration of several Deputy Ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet will be scheduled at the State Palace," said Ari.

The position of Deputy Minister to be inaugurated is the Deputy Minister of Finance. In addition, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture will also be appointed to replace the position of Harvick Hasnul Qolbi.

Finally, the Deputy Minister who will be inaugurated is the Deputy Minister of Investment. The position is currently still vacant.
