3 TNI Colonels Promoted And Broken Stars, 2 Of Them BIN Officials

JAKARTA - TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto transferred, rotated and promoted 18 high-ranking officers. Thus, the regents underwent changes in strategic positions both within the TNI and the State Intelligence Agency (BIN).

The mutation was confirmed by the Head of the Indonesian Armed Forces Information Center (Kapuspen) Maj. Gen. Nugraha Gumilar when contacted in Jakarta, Tuesday, July 16. This was quoted from ANTARA.

This change of position is regulated in the Decree of the Commander of the Indonesian Armed Forces Number Kep/683/VI/2024. The decree is valid from June 14, 2024.

Of the 18 regents, at least three colonels finally broke the star or got promotions and now have one star on their shoulders.

First, Infantry Colonel Gema Repelita received a promotion from his previous position as Head of the Sub-Directorate of Strategic Analysis of the Indonesian Ministry of Defense. Now, he is the North Sumatra Kabinda which was previously held by Brigadier General Asep Jauhari Puja Laksana.

Second, Colonel Inf Agus Budi Setyo Raharjo also received promotions from his previous position as Head of Human Resource Development Section at the HR Bureau of the Main Secretariat of BIN, currently Head of the HR Bureau of the Main Secretariat of BIN.

Third, the TNI Commander in the same decree also gave promotions to Colonel Inf Yusuf Sampetoding, who previously served as Assistant Officer III of the TNI Operations Staff, as Director of Training at the TNI Education and Training Command (Kodiklat).
