BOGOR - The Alumni Association of the Faculty of Forestry and Environment (HAE) IPB University, carried out Bogor Go Green activities to preserve the Situ Gede area, last Saturday. Also present at the event were PJ Mayor of Bogor, Hery Antasari and Chairman of the Bogor City DPRD, Atang Trisnanto.

In this activity, alumni and invited guests from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK), West Bogor Sub-district Head, village heads from West Bogor District, and Pokdarwis helped clean the Situ Gede area while planting trees as a form of environmental conservation.

Atang, who is also an alumni of the Faculty of Forestry, IPB University, thanked HA Fahutan IPB for its real and constructive activities for the environment, especially in the Bogor City area.

"As an alumni, I am obliged to succeed in Bogor Go Green's activities. Thank you to HA Fahutan IPB for being the initiator. God willing, it is part of an effort to bring Bogor green without garbage," said Atang.

"The point is that we will encourage the City Government so that how this waste is completed at the local level first.
