Biden Campaign Team Ready To Fight Kamala Harris With Trump Vice Presidential Candidate JD Vance On The Debate Stage

JAKARTA - United States (US) President Joe Biden's campaign team said Vice President Kamala Harris was ready to face JD Vance on the debate stage, moments after the Ohio senator was announced as a vice presidential candidate for former President Donald Trump.

Vice President Harris is ready to argue with JD Vance. "We have received a proposal from CBS News to participate in the debate, and we are feeling very happy," said Biden campaign spokesman TJ Ducklo in a phone call with reporters in response to a question from CNN, Tuesday, July 16.

The Biden campaign team previously received a proposal on July 23 or August 13. Trump's campaign team has not received the invitation, according to CBS News.

Progressive Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, the main deputy of the Biden campaign team, praised Harris and high expectations for the Harris-Vance fight.

"He's strong. He knows what he's talking about, and he doesn't care a bit and he has better arguments," Warren said, pointing to Harris's position on Social Security and Medicare, health services, economic problems, and unions.

"This debate will be divided into two parts: how strong our vice president is and how good his economic problems are. I look forward to this debate," he said.
