JAKARTA - Akid, a truck driver from Cirebon, West Java, came to the SPKT room of the Tanjung Priok Port Police because he left the truck he was riding in the Tanjung Priok Port area, North Jakarta.

He was left behind by the truck after he had finished unloading salt in the Tanjung Priok Port area on Wednesday, August 5.

In addition, his cellphone was also lost so it was difficult to contact his colleagues. Due to the incident he experienced, Akid also took the initiative to go to the local police station which was not too far from the loading and unloading activities.

After arriving at the Tanjung Priok Port Police, the SPKT officers immediately received Akid's report and immediately followed up on it.

"Yes, after receiving the report, the Police Service Operator 110 Brigadier General Arif immediately took quick action by contacting the Cirebon Police 110 Police Service Call Center," said Tanjung Priok Port Police Chief AKBP Alrasyidin Fajri when confirmed, Thursday, August 6.

The information was forwarded to the members of Bhabinkamtibmas Pabuaran Police, Cirebon Police so that they could immediately contact the company where Akid worked and convey that they could immediately pick up Akid.

"Not long after, Akid was finally picked up by another truck driver who was also active in loading and unloading activities in the Tanjung Priok Port area. That was thanks to the quick coordination and synergy between the police," he said.

It is known that in carrying out activities to unload goods in the Tanjung Priok Port area, there are regulations that can be allowed to enter only the driver, so the kernet must wait in the waiting room provided.

"So after the loading and unloading activities, the driver was said to have not found his kernet in the waiting room. The driver also searched for half an hour before finally leaving the kernet. Fortunately, this problem could be resolved after the kernet came to the police," he said.
