JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Nurul Ghufron officially registered as a candidate for the KPK leadership (capim) for the period 2024-2029. He emphasized this step as a form of his commitment to eradicating corruption.
"That by saying bismillahirahmanirrahim, I will participate in registering as a candidate for the leadership of the KPK for the period 2024-2029. This is part of my commitment to continue eradicating corruption," said Ghufron, Monday, July 15.

"Therefore, once again we invite all of them, both internally and externally, from law enforcers, academics, NGOs, CSOs, as well as other people who have the ability and meet the requirements to participate as part of the participants of the KPK leadership candidate for the 2024-2029 period," he said.
Ghufron views that eradicating corruption is not enough just to do it. He emphasized the importance of concrete actions in eradicating corruption.
"Therefore, once again we invite all of them, both internally and externally, from law enforcers, academics, NGOs, CSOs, as well as other people who have the ability and meet the requirements to participate as part of the participants of the KPK leadership candidate for the 2024-2029 period," he said.
