Matched With Surya In The North Sumatra Gubernatorial Election, Bobby Nasution: This Is A Bright Spot But Not Fixed

The Golkar Party has officially brought the Regent of Asahan Surya to accompany Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution to run in the 2024 North Sumatra Governor and Deputy Governor Election (Pilgub). Responding to this, North Sumatra candidate for governor Bobby Nasution admitted that he had received a bright spot from a number of names who were rumored to be accompanying him in the 2024 North Sumatra gubernatorial election.

The son-in-law of President Joko Widodo was present at the technical guidance activities of DPRD members and candidates for DPRD members elected by the Golkar Party faction throughout North Sumatra at the JW Mariott Hotel Medan to stay in touch with Golkar Party cadres, on Monday afternoon.

On the sidelines of this activity, the chairman of the North Sumatra Regional Golkar Party DPD Musa Rajekshah announced that the Golkar Party had given a mandate to the Regent of Asahan, namely Surya to accompany Bobby Nasution as a candidate for deputy governor of North Sumatra.

Responding to this, Bobby Nasution admitted that the name carried by Golkar was a bright spot for the name who had been included in the stock exchange for the candidate for deputy governor of Sumatra to accompany him.

"Compared with Pak Surya, this means that this is a bright spot for the names so far on the candidate exchange for deputy governor of North Sumatra which was conveyed by Pak Airlangga," said Bobby, Monday, July 15.

However, regarding the decision of the candidate for deputy governor who will accompany him, Bobby Nasution said he was still waiting for a follow-up to the political party that currently carries him.

"Furthermore, I personally and from the Gerindra Party are waiting for the continuation after today," he said.

Previously, the Golkar Party had promoted the Regent of Asahan Surya to become the pair Bobby Nasution for the 2024 North Sumatra gubernatorial election. This was conveyed by the Chairman of the DPD Golkar Party for the North Sumatra Region, Musa Rajekshah.

Musa said that Surya's investigation from Golkar was to accompany Bobby based on the joint approval of the Gerindra Party.

Golkar appointed Surya to accompany Bobby, in addition to his good performance in the Asahan Regency Government, Surya is also a genuine cadre of the Golkar party. In fact, Surya is considered to have experience in the political world, especially in the North Sumatra region.
