Ari's statement responded to the shooting incident that happened to former United States President Donald Trump while delivering a campaign speech in Pennsylvania, United States, Saturday (13/7) local time.

"The President's safety is always the highest priority from the Paspampres, which is fully supported by other security forces," Ari said in a written message received by ANTARA in Jakarta, Sunday.

When asked about the possibility of President Jokowi's security being tightened after the incident, Ari explained that the Pasmpres always acted vigilantly while still providing flexibility space to the President.

"Still providing flexibility space for President Jokowi to interact with the people. However, security is maintained," added Ari.
