Former Wantimpres Mardiono Regarding Prabowo's DPA: Every Time There Is A Time

Acting Chairman of PPP Mardiono also commented on the revision of the Law on the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres) which will change the nomenclature to the Supreme Advisory Council (DPA).

According to him, it is fine if Wantimpres is changed to DPA according to the needs of the president in office.

"All rights will certainly adapt to political needs, yes, in a leadership, of course, it has a different strategy. So if in my view, that's fine," said Mardiono at the PPP DPP office, Jakarta, Friday, July 12.

"If it becomes a political necessity later in supporting the government of Mr. President Prabowo Subianto and Mr. Gibran," he continued.

When asked about the DPA back to the New Order era, the former Wantimpres member also considered that every time there was an era. On the other hand, said Mardiono, every time there is a time.

"Indeed, every time there is a time, yes, every time there is a time," said Mardiono.
