KJP Plus Phase 1 2024 Wave 2 Liquid Today, 53 Thousand Students Crossed Out

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government will start disbursing the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) Plus phase I for the second wave starting today. A number of KJP recipients who have not received education assistance have been waiting for a long time. In fact, they had complained to the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono. Given, the first batch of KJPs have been looking for since June 13. "We apologize for the delay in disbursing the KJP Plus funds, because the DKI Jakarta Provincial Education Office is committed to continuing to ensure that social assistance funds in the education sector can be right on target," said Acting Head of the DKI Jakarta Education Office Budi Awaluddin in his statement, Friday, June 12. The total recipients of the KJP Plus Phase I funds were 533,649 people. The first batch of KJP Plus 1 was distributed by 460,143 recipients and the second wave was 73,506 recipients. Budi explained, All KJP Plus Phase I recipients are students from the verified inability group. Thus, tens of thousands of students were dropped from KJP recipients. "Phase I of the second wave yesterday left 130 thousand. What we agree to is that 70 thousand and 53 thousand are not eligible for it," said Budi. Budi explained that the KJP Plus program is dynamic and adapts to the economic conditions of the community. Thus, the number of recipients can move fluctuately, looking at the recipient's economic income which will continue to be updated regularly. "We hope that KJP Plus social assistance funds can improve the quality of human resources, especially Jakarta residents. With superior human resources, the dignity of the nation can be raised towards Indonesia Gold 2045," he added. Previously, the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono asked the DKI Jakarta Education Office to accelerate the disbursement of the second wave of KJP Plus in 2024.

Bearing in mind, some of the KJP recipients have not yet received the disbursement of the education aid funds. This complaint was made by residents when Heru made a visit to Palmerah, West Jakarta, some time ago.
